Hello again.

It is the end of week 2 in Nicaragua and our third week away from home!  This week we had a more regular schedule.
Every morning we get ready and eat breakfast by 7:30am.  After breakfast we have quiet time until 9:15am. After quiet time we have been going to El Puente to have book discussion over our novel Victory Over Darkness. Then we go home for lunch and after lunch we do ministry for 3 hours, then come home and do chores, eat dinner and finally debrief.  Our ministry this week has been centered around El Puente.  We cleaned out a building of weeds and debris, then the boys hacked at weeds with machetes and picked up the weeds and put them into a burn pile, we also helped stack rocks into makeshift stairs. I don´t know what is in store for us in ministry this week but I am super excited for what God has planned for us!! There has been some heavy rainstorms and last Sunday night it was raining so hard that the streets were  a little flooded and my bed got soaked with rain, the only bed in the house to get rained on! It dried in a few days though.  On Thursday night we went to young life at El Puente. This is only the third week they have held it and I it was a lot of fun getting to interact with Nicaraguans my own age :) I am looking forward to Young Life this week and seeing my new friends.  I will attempt to upload some more pictures onto my blog page under ¨browse more photos¨ however the process is somewhat slow so please allow me some grace with that one.  I love and miss all of you.
Please be praying for me and my health because I have been feeling under the weather the last few days but other than that I have been fine.
